Mental Health Disclaimer

Effective June 12, 2026 · Last updated June 12, 2026

Please read this disclaimer carefully. It explains what Mooday is, what it is not, and what to do if you need real help. By using Mooday, you acknowledge and accept what is described below.

What Mooday Is For

Mooday is a tool for self-reflection, journaling, and personal mood awareness. It is meant to help you notice how you feel, record your moods over time, and look back on your own patterns.

Mooday is a private space for your own thoughts and feelings - nothing more, and nothing it claims to be beyond that.

What Mooday Is Not

Mooday is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

In particular, Mooday does not:

  • Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition.
  • Provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
  • Replace professional care from a doctor, therapist, counselor, or other qualified provider.
  • Monitor your wellbeing or alert anyone on your behalf.

Mooday helps you reflect on your emotions; it does not assess or manage them. Anything you record in Mooday is for your own personal reflection and should not be treated as a clinical record or as professional guidance.

Not for Emergencies or Crisis Situations

Mooday is not designed for emergencies and cannot provide crisis support. It is not a crisis line, it is not monitored, and no one is alerted when you write something in the app.

If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself or others, or facing any urgent risk to your safety, do not rely on Mooday. The app cannot help in an emergency.

If You Need Help

  • For any health concern, or if you have questions about your mental or emotional wellbeing, please contact a qualified professional such as a doctor, therapist, or counselor.
  • If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, contact your local emergency services or a local crisis or suicide-prevention helpline right away.

Reaching out to a real person who can help is always the right step when something feels urgent. Mooday is there for everyday reflection - not for the moments when you need support now.
